Pinnacle Equity Solutions is proud to be hosting our Third Annual Exit Planning Conference at the Omni Parker Hotel on September 27th & 28th, 2012. After a very successful event in Boston this past October, Pinnacle decided that we would return again to New England for the fall season. The fall is a beautiful time to visit Boston as the leaves and the weather are changing, making for incredible scenery that visitors from around the world come to admire. To further assist our visitors with enjoying this special time of year, we chose the last week in September, before it is too cold, and we elected to have our event the days preceding the weekend, allowing for extra time to visit and enjoy the city.

The real driver of this event, however, is the excitement around the growth of the exit planning business and industry. Pinnacle’s 120+ Membership is the fastest growing in the industry and our reputation for quality training leading to success in delivering solutions to owners is what has us leading this emerging space. With such a rapidly developing business, we want to bring together this new industry's thought leaders, prominent speakers, best practices training as well as extensive networking opportunities for you to benefit from and meet with professional advisors who are also focused in this area. You'll also learn more about Pinnacle's current and future initiatives including how we are working to literally build this emerging industry we call exit planning.

    Since June of 2010, Pinnacle has hosted five (5) exit planning Certification Courses. Our CBECTM Trainees are Pinnacle Members who are branding their practices and promoting exit planning in their local markets. The CBECTM meeting is for our valued leaders to come together to spread the Exit Planning message more effectively while finding more efficient ways to bring business owners through the process, of course, to network with the other leaders from around the country.

    Our Members-only meeting is designed to provide our valued Pinnacle exit planning members with an update to Pinnacle’s business and growth plans and our agenda for 2013. This is also an excellent way for our Members to network with each other, particularly as we continue to grow quickly and add new Members each month. We will also provide our updated tools including our plan writing software.

  • 6:00-8:00 pm - Welcome Reception - Open Bar

    All attendees are invited and encouraged to attend our Welcome Reception where an open bar and appetizers will allow a great opportunity to network with all of our conference attendees. This session will also provide you with an opportunity to register for Friday’s full day of activities, including receiving your registration package, binder, and materials. Our Pinnacle community of exit planners has developed a reputation for mixing a lot of fun into their exit planning training. Thursday’s cocktail reception is the opportunity to get this started.

    Our day of exit planning training begins with a year in review assessment of the exit planning marketplace as well as an update of what Pinnacle is doing to raise awareness and educate owners and advisors about the importance of exit planning. We will highlight Pinnacle’s growth plans as well as offer predictions and guidance on where the exit planning marketplace is heading and how each participant can benefit from this emerging and fast-growing industry.

    We begin our day-long event with opening and welcome comments as well as the opportunity for each attendee to briefly introduce themselves. Advisor personal introductions are a tradition at Pinnacle’s live events and it is very helpful in identifying attendees that you know and those that you want to get to know throughout the day. We will also have our Sponsors recognized and introduced and we will cover our agenda for the day.

    This morning session is a customized presentation on a unique aspect of exit planning that is built to educate our audience. With all of the unique and discreet areas of exit planning, this presentation is integrated into our entire day together and is offered from one of our key sponsors to the event along with an explanation of why they are involved with Pinnacle and with supporting our exit planning conference.

    This fall’s conference will include break-out sessions with topical speakers on their areas of expertise, you will be able to choose from one of three presentations. As Pinnacle’s core values go to education and excellence, you will have a choice of speakers to listen to so that you can learn from various experts who represent different areas of exit planning that are most applicable to your practice.

  • 12:00 pm - Lunch / Case Study (lead by Chapter Leaders)

    Lunch is included in our full-day conference as well as more practical education to advance your thinking on how to better integrate exit planning into your business. Our working lunch will include discussion of a case study that is created at Pinnacle and will be offered to each group to ‘solve’. Our groups will be formed by carefully selecting different advisors from varying disciplines to create a dynamic discussion about the case study at hand. Because advisor collaboration is so critical to the proper execution of an exit planning engagement, our hand-picked groups will work together to create solutions for the case. Pinnacle’s Chapter leaders from around the country will facilitate the case study conversation and will also report the findings of each group during the ‘solutions’ phase of our lunch time together. This working lunch was a large success at our January, New Oleans conference as it provided our attendees with the additional ability to network with each other and forge relationships amongst the participants.

    The afternoon session offers another breakout opportunity where our attendees can again choose from one (1) of three (3) different topical presentations. These technical sessions are geared towards increasing your skill level for your exit planning engagements. Each presenter is aligned with the exit planning marketplace and will share unique insights with our attendees.

    Our day concludes with a general session together and the presentation of Pinnacle’s 4th Annual ‘Excellence in Exit Planning Achievement Award’. Our previous winners will help introduce our 2012 winner and will in making the special presentation. As the leader in the exit planning marketplace, Pinnacle believes in recognizing significant accomplishment as a guiding light for others to follow. This year’s recipient is a special advisor who broke the mold for exit planning and has set a course of leadership that others will be inspired to follow.

    The sponsors for our event are the folks who assist us in keeping our pricing low and providing excellent content to contribute to our conferences. Therefore, we will present a number of awards and prizes at the end of the day.

    The first prize will be a drawing for $1,000 cash for any attendee who met with all of our sponsors and learned about their businesses. Sponsor stamps will be provided at each sponsor table and those who completely fill out their cards are eligible for the $1,000 drawing and prize.

    Next, each sponsor who participates is invited to present an award to a randomly selected advisor who placed their business card in the bowl at the sponsor’s table. The sponsor prizes will vary and it is an attendees opportunity to win a valuable prize while also providing Pinnacle with an opportunity to once again recognize our valued sponsors.
